What does the Tools… Options… Cookbooks tab… “annotation” checkbox mean?
Here is what “annotation” does:
checked – user annotations can be added cookbook and displayed in NYC’s default Open Cookbook window. We suggest short filenames for cookbooks so the Open Cookbook list can remain tidy.
unchecked – no user annotations to cookbooks, Explorer-type file dialog for File… Open Cookbook…, long filenames allowed for cookbook files (*.gcf).
