Searches Without Search Keywords
In most NYC searches, if you perform the search with NO search keywords, NYC assumes you want to find all possible items in the search range. For example:
1. To find all recipes in the “desserts” category across cookbooks, use Recipes… Recipes…, select the “desserts” category, then press the Search button. On the Search Keywords window, click “all cookbooks”, enter NO search keywords, then press the Search button.
2. To find all user-defined nutrition items, use Nutrition… Database… to open the nutrition database, select Edit… Find… from the menu (with the database open). In the Find window, click the checkbox “find only user-defined items”, enter NO search keywords, then press the Find All button.
