How to Improve Font Size and Readability of NYC Screens
If you are using something like 1920 x 1080 resolution and you find NYC’s global screen font too small, even after you set it 10 in Tools… Options… Interface tab, you still have several options:
1. In NYC 6.02 and higher, you can use the A+ and A- buttons on the recipe edit window to increase or decrease fonts in the edited portions of the window.
2. In Windows Display settings, you can switch to Medium (125%) rather than Small (100%) fonts (Display Settings… Scale… 125% in Windows 11).
3. In Windows Display settings, you could reduce your screen resolution (Display Settings… Display Resolution… in Windows 11).
In NYC, you can also experiment with different background colors on:
1. recipe text (see Background… button on the recipe edit window).
2. various NYC forms (see Tools… Options… Interface tab… Form Colors…).
